The afternoon Dublin Mountain pub tour gives you the opportunity to experience true Irish pub culture at three of Dublin’s finest rural pubs whilst taking in the beautiful scenery.

Autumn Dublin Mountain Road

We make the short journey (30 min.) out of the city and up the Dublin Mountains to our first stop, where you can set yourself up for the day and enjoy some of the best pub food served in Ireland.

View from Dublin Mountains

After a meal to remember, we make the very short journey across the hills to our second pub, where you’re sure to be amazed by the spectacular views of Dublin Bay from the pub and maybe even get to know some of the friendly locals. Enjoy the amazing views whilst sitting in the beer garden or through the window while relaxing beside the cozy turf fire.

Johnnie Fox's visited on Rural Pub ToursJust 10 minutes up the road is our third and last stop before we return to the city. One of Ireland’s oldest and most famous pubs, Johnnie Fox’s is also famed as Ireland’s highest pub. We have plenty of time to enjoy a Guinness or two accompanied by live traditional Irish music and explore this fantastic rustic pub, which was originally a smallholding farm.

After an afternoon of singing and maybe even some dancing, we merrily make the short journey back to Dublin City Centre.
